World Economic Forum Selects Robeauté As Technology Pioneer 2026

For more than 25 years, the Technology Pioneers programme has recognized early-stage companies developing technologies with the potential to transform industries and address some of the world's most pressing challenges.

Every year, the Forum selects 100 early-stage companies to join its Technology Pioneers Community. This year’s cohort, spanning 23 countries, arrives at a defining moment: deep tech investment is surging, AI accounts for more than 60% of all global venture capital, and the lines between software, hardware, energy and biology are increasingly blurred.

The Technology Pioneers community includes companies that have gone on to become global leaders in their fields, as well as healthcare innovators that have helped advance genomics, precision medicine, diagnostics, and medical devices. More than an award, the programme creates a global network of entrepreneurs, policymakers, investors, and industry leaders working together to shape the future of technology and society.

Robeauté represents France in this year's cohort, selected for pioneering a microrobotic platform that can navigate the brain with unprecedented precision.

As robotics and artificial intelligence continue to reshape medicine, Robeauté is built to combine physical access with autonomy, precision, and upon conviction that minimally invasive intervention will play a crucial role in improving patient outcomes globally.

"Throughout the history of medicine, major breakthroughs have often been driven by new ways of accessing and understanding the human body. We believe microrobotics represents the next frontier in that evolution. Being selected as a World Economic Forum Technology Pioneer is a powerful validation of our mission and an opportunity to engage with a global community of innovators shaping the future of technology and healthcare.

– Bertrand Duplat, Co-Founder & CEO, Robeauté

"The technologies that change the world are never built alone. Category-defining missions like Robeauté take a network. We are grateful to our team, clinical collaborators, investors, and partners, and look forward to contributing to the Technology Pioneers community alongside fellow innovators tackling some of the world's most important challenges."

– Joana Cartocci, Co-Founder & COO, Robeauté
